Chains

Chains

Providing the link between your legs and the rear wheel, a bicycle chain is one of the key components of your bicycle’s drivetrain.

The type of chain you need will depend on the number of gears you have. 8, 9, 10, 11 and even 12 speed chains vary in thickness whilst your gear ratios will determine the length your chain needs to be.

For easy maintenance, many chains have a ‘quick link’ enabling you to break the chain for cleaning and reattach it after you’re done.
